Andrea Nyamekye is a nonprofit leader and program strategist with over seven years of experience leading grassroots and systems-level initiatives across Massachusetts and globally. As an Organizing Consultant with Community Labor United, Andrea leads the Green Justice Coalition. Prior to joining CLU, Andrea worked internationally with DAI Global, supporting USAID programs focused on inclusive governance and climate resilience in Asia-Pacific, Eastern Europe, Latin America, the Middle East, South Asia, and Subsaharan Africa. She also served as Co-Executive Director of Neighbor to Neighbor Massachusetts, where she led the passage of landmark environmental justice legislation and raised over $1M to power community organizing. Andrea holds a Master’s in International Environmental Policy from The Fletcher School at Tufts University, and a Bachelors in Natural Resources Conservation from UMass Amherst.
