2017 Salt of the Earth Awards

Our twelfth annual Salt of the Earth Awards ceremony was held on the evening of June 7th at InterContinental Boston. The event honored community members and organizations with a strong commitment to improving the lives of working class families in both the Greater Boston area and the Commonwealth of Massachusetts as a whole. This year’s well-deserving recipients included Tyrek Lee, the Executive Vice President of 1199SEIU United Healthcare Workers East, Policy Group on Tradeswomen’s Issues, The Boston Ujima Project and Greater Boston Community Land Trust Network. A big thank you to everyone who joined us for this special event.
