Community Labor United (CLU) was founded in 2005 as a long-term partnership between Greater Boston’s strongest base-building community organizations and labor unions, all centered around a common goal: building power and amplifying the voices of our communities.

Through strategic campaigns guided by strong research and thoughtful power analysis, we unite workers and neighbors across multiple sectors and issues to fight for our shared values and vision.

For 20+ years, we’ve been organizing and mobilizing to align community and labor interests against those that prioritize profit over people. And in 2026, our work is more critical than ever. Supporting our anniversary event means directly supporting this ongoing movement.
