Theresa Strachila joined CLU in 2022 as Program Coordinator for the Care That Works Pilot. Theresa’s commitment to social justice has led them to diverse roles in program management, education, community outreach, volunteer engagement and fundraising. Prior to joining CLU, Theresa supported food justice through urban agriculture and sustainable farming with a focus on food access. Their past experiences also include supporting affordable homeownership utilizing a community land trust model and amplifying volunteer impact through aligning needs and opportunities.
Theresa enjoys continued engagement with food systems through gardening and cooking with local vegetables. They take joy from bicycling around the city with occasional escapes to hike and camp. Theresa has a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology from Boston University.
