Malaysia Fuller-StatenCare That Works Program Coordinator

    Malaysia Fuller-Staten is a Boston-based community and political organizer who joins Community Labor United as the Program Coordinator for the Care That Works Pilot, by way of youth organizing. Malaysia has been organizing since she was a teenager, working on issues such as the fight for $15, criminal justice reform, automatic voter registration, and youth jobs funding. Most recently, Malaysia was a Program Coordinator at the Center for Teen Empowerment, where she supported young people in developing organizing skills. Malaysia brings her deep commitment to promoting resource accessibility with her to Community Labor United, and through her work she hopes to make childcare attainable for all families.
