Bob has spent his lifetime in the labor movement, starting at Raytheon as a rank and file leader, then shop steward and elected leadership in his local union, then moving on to becoming the Political Director of the Massachusetts AFL-CIO. He has brought labor’s political program to new heights at the Massachusetts AFL-CIO and before that revolutionized the Rapid Response program, spending years assisting dislocated workers in overcoming layoffs, accessing career services and finding hope during tough times.
