Through the Salt of the Earth Awards, CLU seeks to recognize individuals and organizations who have demonstrated an ongoing commitment to improving the lives of working-class families in Greater Boston and throughout the Commonwealth. For more than a decade, CLU has accomplished its mission through coalition building, research and policy development, public education and grassroots mobilization that moves policies forward. Our campaigns bring together community organizations and unions, based on a shared interest in making concrete changes in everyday people’s lives. We develop new organizing and increased civic engagement opportunities for our partner organizations. Please consider being a sponsor in this year’s 14th Anniversary Celebration Event. Your contribution is critical to the continued success of CLU’s programs and efforts. I have attached a Sponsorship level sheet. To show our appreciation for your support, we will acknowledge your contribution in several ways, including listing your name or the name of your organization in the program book for the event. I will be in touch with you in the near future to follow up on this letter. In the meantime, please feel free to contact us at 617-723-2639 or email for more information.   We look forward to working with you to make this a successful event. Sincerely,

Darlene Lombos Executive Director, Community Labor United Vice President, Greater Boston Labor Council
